Imagine this - you're invited to a party, you have a ton of fun AND earn money for your group or organization.
We'd like to invite your not for profit group or organization to join in the fun at the Heritage Hero 5K + Mile Stroll & Roll on Saturday, Aug. 26 at Monroe Community College. All you have to do is create a team on our online fundraising page and share it with your network, asking for them to sponsor your team. You don't need to worry about the expense and labor of hosting an event to raise money - we've got that covered, and not to toot our horn or anything, but it's a pretty darn good one! The Heritage Hero is a successful, long standing event held at Monroe Community College in Brighton, welcoming more than 330 5K racers and 800 walkers, and features a certified 5K route, a one mile walk, live music, family activities, lunch and more.
Any funds you raise as part of our event we'll split with you - 50/50, with the first $100 directed to HCS to cover administrative fees. Collect donations online or have donations sent in recognizing your team - it's super easy. That means if your team raises $2,000, after the small admin fee of $100, your group makes $950 and HCS makes $950.
The Heritage Hero is an opportunity to race or walk in honor or in memory of their own hero. Maybe your group or organization has a coach who has made a huge difference in the lives of children, perhaps someone your organization supports has beat all odds and you'd like to
Heritage Hero partners with RunSignUp, a powerful online fundraising platform that makes it easy and fun for all runners and walkers to fundraise for the charities most dear to them!
