Description
University of Dubuque student organization Delta Phi Sigma will be hosting the Ugly Sweater 5K Fun Run/Walk on Saturday, December 2, 2017. This non-timed event for fun and charity will benefit Dubuque’s local Toys for Tots Foundation. Participants are invited to grab their ugliest sweater (not required, but recommended) or other festive clothing, lace up their running shoes, and join the fun on a scenic Grandview Avenue route.

About Toys for Tots in Dubuque
Now is the time! Look for the boxes and donate a new toy today!
Mission: The mission of the Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to underprivileged children in the Dubuque area as a message of hope to the youngsters that will assist them in becoming responsible, productive, patriotic citizens.
Company Overview:This is the the official United States Marine Corps Reserve Toys For Tots Program covering Dubuque County, Iowa, Grant County, Wisconsin, East Dubuque, IL and supporting other toy efforts in our neighbor's communities.
General Information: In 2011 we distributed 18,000 toys to over 6000 kids in the tri-states. Not bad for something we do in our "free time"!
