The Girls Run the World 5K will aid in the expansion of the Girls Run The World leadership program that services three high schools in Aurora. This event will celebrate the accomplishments of the young women in the program and young ladies all over Aurora, while promoting a healthy lifestyle.
After the 5K, please stick around to “Party in The Park” with us. Enjoy a variety of food trucks vendors, community resource tables, resale vendors, and local performances.

Party in the Park:
The race course will follow the running path at Phillips Park, near Mastodon Lake.
Directions to start:
The Race will start and end at Phillips Park Aquatic Center 828 Montgomery Road, Aurora, Illinois
Race packets can be picked up at: The Aurora Police Department 1200 E Indian Trail Rd Aurora, IL 60505 on Thursday, May 30th and Friday, May 31st between 10-6pm.
Race packets can be picked up onsite on race day at 08:00am.
First come, first serve parking will be available at Phillips Park Aquatic Center. Additional free parking will be located in nearby Phillips Park Lots.
· "Party in the Park" will begin immediately after the conclusion of the race. The party will consist of food and merchandise vendors, dance performers, music, poetry, and various community resource tables.
· Registration fee includes: T-shirt (not guaranteed if registering after May 25th)
Timing and Bibs:
The 5k is an officially timed event. Timing chips are attached directly to the back of your bib number and are to remain adhered for the duration of the event.
