Answers for Emmett

This 5K Run and Walk takes place on the scenic Fox River Trail. It is a flat and fast, chip-timed race. Awards will be given to overall male and female winners and the top 3 in each age group. Age groups are as follows:

·19 and under
·20-29
·30-39
·40-49
·50-59
·60+

The Youth Mile Run, 400 Meters and Toddler Sprint will take place shortly after the 5K. All children will receive finisher awards.

This event celebrates the spirit of Emmett Casey Frank, who passed away from sudden unexplained death in childhood (SUDC) at 16 months old. Race proceeds go to the SUDC Foundation, whose mission is to support grieving families and fund crucial medical research so that no new families have to endure the pain of losing a child. NOTE: Adult and youth T-shirts are guaranteed through May 28. On race day, they will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last. This event is rain or shine. No refunds. On race day cash, check and credit card accepted.
