Dear Registered Participants,
As we all know, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic can be and has been felt far and wide. The crushing blows to small businesses and large corporations alike; the overworked and overwhelmed first responders facing this virus head-on; the local and national shelter-in-place government orders and the cancellation of many, if not all, outdoor summertime events in Chicago to the benefit of public safety have all disrupted what was once our normal way of life, but it is necessary for the time being. Therefore, after careful consideration, and with much disappointment, we are postponing the 2020 Divine Nine 5K Run/Walk. We take our responsibility to our attendees very seriously, and believe this is the best and safest option. We appreciate your support and understanding during this time.
As a registered participant you have the option to lock in your $25 registration rate for either the 2021 or 2022 race. Please confirm your decision no later than June 6, 2020. If you have any further inquiries please respond to this email.
We hope to see you back on the course for an even bigger and better Divine Nine 5K race in 2021.
