JEPF Sprint to Summer 5k Run/Walk & Paws in the Park Pet Parade

The 3rd Annual JEPF Sprint to Summer is a 5k Run/Walk event for all ages. The race will kick off at 9 a.m. and will be run through the quiet neighborhood streets surrounding Hiller Park. Runner's prizes will be awarded to the top 3 overall finishers.

Following the race, grab your furriest family-friendly pets and join us for the 1st Annual JEPF Paws in the Park Pet Parade. The parade will step off at 10 a.m. The course will be marked around the grassy area of Hiller Park. Festively attired pets will compete in various contest categories: Best Pet Costume, Most Original Costume, Best Costume Duo (pet & Owner)

The school with the most participation in these two events will be awarded a special prize. 

This fundraising event is coordinated by the Johnsburg Educational Partnership Foundation, a nonprofit organization whose vision is to provide the students of Johnsburg District 12 valuable educational opportunities not funded through traditional sources. 

Walk-up registrations will be accepted the day of the event.  Please note that prices for all events will increase $5. 

Register by August 14th to receive your 5K race t-shirt at the event. 5K registrations received after this date will need to pick up their t-shirt at the District office at a later date.
