Alpha Phi Omega's Charity Water Color Run 5K

The Peoria community hosts Alpha Phi Omega's Annual Color Run on May 1st, 2021. This year the Color Run 5K has a great opportunity to support a specular Non-Profit Organization, Charity Water. Due to Bradley's COVID 19 guidelines, the Color Run will be a virtual run, and we encourage all participants to run around Bradley University. We will include racing routes around Bradley University participants can choose from in the photos section of the website.  We will have two runs from 10 am - 12 pm and from 2 pm -4 pm. At the end of each run, runners can go to Meinen Field to be splashed with color run powder.  Registration for the race ($15 to enter) ends on the April 28th. The date early registration racers can pick up their shirts at Meinen Field will be announced through the Color Run GroupMe.

Charity Work is a nonprofit organization bringing clean and safe drinking water to people in developing countries. 785 million people live without clean water. That’s nearly 1 in 10 people worldwide, or twice the United States population without access to life’s most basic human need. With the help from Charity Water, millions of people receive access to clean water. 

Throughout the race, participants are required to socially distance 6 feet from people not in their household and must wear masks throughout the duration of the event. Failure to comply with COVID 19 guidelines will result in the participant not being allowed to participate in the event without a refund. If you are a participating in the race and are NOT a Bradley student, you must fill out the form with the link below due to Bradley's contact tracing policy. Outside participants who do not fill out this form will not be able to take part in the color run.

After signing up for the race, please use the link below to sign up for the race's GroupMe. Here participants will receive reminders for important deadlines including when early and late registration ends, when participants can pick their shirts up at the Alumni Quad, information for when the race will be rescheduled due to weather or high COVID numbers, and important reminders for participants before the race. If participants have any questions, they can also use this group where admins will address their concerns.
