Description

Help us fight neglect and abuse through education. Join the 30th Annual Walk for Animals and Furry Scurry 5k (timed) run - Sunday, September 17th at Franke Park as a fundraising event for Fort Wayne Animal Care & Control's Humane Education Department. Dogs are encouraged to participate in the run or walk as long as they are leashed at all times, current on rabies and distemper vaccines, and have excellent temperament with other dogs and children. Strollers are welcome in the run and walk. Following the run and walk we will have snacks and vendors for people to enjoy. We will also be acknowledging our top finishers and fundraisers! 

Registration is Non-Refundable

5K Packet Pick Up

Saturday, September 16th from 3:00-6:00pm at Fleetfeet Sports, 5661 Coventry Lane, Fort Wayne, IN 46804.  Fleetfeet Sports is located in the Village of Coventry behind Starbucks.

Day of the Race/Walk

5K Furry Scrurry Race Check in time: 8:30am - Race start time: 9:30am (no race day registration)
Walk for Animals Check in/registration: 11:00am - Walk start time: 12:00pm

Shirt size can not be guaranteed for registrants after Aug. 31.
