The 2022 Extra Yard 5K is a family-friendly 3.1 mile race hosted in conjunction with the College Football Playoff National Championship weekend in Indianapolis.

The race will be held on Sunday, January 9, 2022 in the heart of downtown Indianapolis with the race starting and finishing inside the Indiana Convention Center. Each participant will receive a t-shirt and finisher medal. And if you’re not in town for the national championship game, you can join us virtually!

Proceeds will benefit the College Football Playoff Foundation’s Extra Yard for Teachers initiative, which aims to go the “extra yard” by honoring, celebrating, inspiring and empowering teachers nationwide.
