Description

Join us for the 2023 Brandon's House Counseling Center "Walk4Teens" Walk, and walk 5k to support free counseling for teens and families! We want to raise $20,000 to support mental health counseling for children and teens in our community.

The "Walk4Teens" walk will be held on Saturday, May 20th between the hours of 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM. This event is in-person at Sam Peden Community Park (3037 Grant Line Rd, New Albany, IN 47150). Registration opens at 8:45 AM.

How it works: The idea for our Walk-A-Thon is for the individual (you) to raise money by reaching out to friends, family and your community to donate toward YOUR walk! The goal is to raise at least $125 per a person. This is the cost of one counseling session for a teen at Brandon's House (remember it is always free to our clients!). You can do this solo, or as a group! Once registered, anyone can navigate to your name or your group's name on our RunSignUp page and donate directly toward your walk! 

Special T-Shirts / Hoodies: To add a shirt / hoodie to your order, continue past the registration fee and before you reach checkout, the options will be available to you! Be sure to select the correct size. Shirts will be at event for pick up before the walkathon and available for pick up at Brandon's House office after the event, Shirts and hoodies ordered after May 1, 2023 will be available for pick up after the May 20th walk.

𝐐: How do I register my group for the event?

𝐀: If you are walking with a group, you can download the registration form at www.brandonshousein.com and turn in completed forms for all group members to staff@brandonshousein.com and payment as a group will be arranged. Please contact us for any questions regarding group registration. 

𝐐: How do I set myself / my group up as a fundraiser?

𝐀: After registering your basic information on RunSignup by clicking "Sign up", you will be met with a page that shows all of our participants, both groups and individuals. From there you can choose to either support a solo party, OR set yourself up as a fundraiser by clicking "Become a fundraiser."

𝐐: What if I just want to donate?

𝐀: Simply follow the steps above, but instead of clicking "Become a fundraiser" select whoever you would like to contribute toward! If no one particularly, your registration cost will count as a donation! Just click continue and head to checkout! (You can enter an additional amount at the bottom of this page if you would like) Or you can go to our website (Brandonshousein.com & donate through our Paypal). 

𝐐: What amenities are available at event?

𝐀: Bottled water and small snacks will be provided to all participants. The park has restrooms available to the public. Parking is free.
