We are very sorry to announce that this race has been converted to a Virtual Event.

Given the recent up tick in COVID-19 cases, we have received pressure from local health officials and sponsors not to risk staff, volunteers, and participant exposure to groups. We agree with and respect these guidelines and are not able to host a live event given the current environment.

Thank you very much for your support and we wish that we could have had the opportunity to see this race through as a live event. Please make a selection below to indicate if you would like to receive a refund, or if you would still like to receive your race gear.

Like Running? Love Wine? This race is for you!

Race Swag: All participants will receive a race t-shirt, souvenir wine or beer glass, and a free glass of wine or beer (or soda for our under 21 runners) after the race!

Join us on Sunday, July 12th, 2020 for an exciting new event that features the scenic course along the St. Joseph river, and even more scenic post race party located at Ironhand Wine Bar! In addition to a great race T-shirt, souvenir wine glass, finisher medal, and 5k race... your registration also includes a glass of wine! With registration options for all wine lovers and runners, this race is a sure thing for a great time! This race is timed and scored by J3 Timing. Results will be posted at www.J3Timing.com.

SOCIAL DISTANCING UPDATE: This race will feature

No Packet Pickup (we will ship your race packet to eliminate contact with volunteers)
Open Start Line (race will not start as a group, your chip time starts when you start the race)
Wave Starts (start times extended from 8am-10:00am)
Open Area - start line and race staging will be spread out to maximize social distancing
Results - posted online only, all participants receive finisher medals (no age group ceremony)
Post Race Party - wine tickets are good any time on Friday and over the weekend to reduce group size at the Wine Bar

Awards: All runners get a sweet finisher medal!! There are no age group awards or ceremony for this race, but we will have live results broken down into overall and age group format for you to view.

FAQ's

Is the race only for 21+? No, minors are welcome to participate, but they will get a free soda instead of wine.
Are strollers allowed? Yes - but we do not recommend strollers for this race since we are crossing public roadways and will be on a bike path which is open to the public during the event
Is walking allowed? Yes
Is the race dog friendly? No - due to social distancing changes for this event we do not recommend dogs or pets
Wine's cool, but I prefer Beer! That's not a question... but you have a choice of wine or beer after the race!

Packet Pickup, Start/Finish Line

Packet Pickup: Packets will be shipped to all participants at the address provided during registration. You will receive all swag items, and pick up your wine glass on race day at the winery.

Start/Finish Line: The course will start and finish on the running path along the river. To ensure proper social distancing, participants will line up in the adjacent parking lot and start the event 1 at a time in a queue system.
