Packet Pickup


  • All participants MUST pick up their own packets.  No one else may pick up an athlete's packet.
  • Both a valid PHOTO ID and a current USAT MEMBERSHIP license are required.
  • NOTE: cell phone and internet connectivity may be spotty please either bring a hard copy of USAT membership or take a screenshot on your phone before leaving home.

Saturday, September 12
Packet Pickup and Onsite Registration will be from 4 - 7 pm at the Spillway Dam Recreation Area. Google map coordinates - Look for the registration tent and flags.  There is NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION, but you may register online until midnight September 12.  Chips will be issued on Race Day ONLY

Sunday, September 13 - RACE DAY PACKET PICKUP ONLY
All events: Packets may be picked up on race day from 6 - 7:30 am at Spillway Dam Recreation AreaLook for the registration tent and flags. Chips will be issued at Body Marking, next to Transition. There is no race-day registration.

  • 6:00 am - Transition Opens
  • 6:00 am - Packet Pickup Begins
  • 7:30 am - Mandatory pre-race meeting with USAT official
  • 7:40 am - Payer and National Anthem
  • 7:55 am - Final access to Oly distance transition area
  • 8:00 am - Open Water Swim
  • 8:00 am - First Wave (Olympic distance only) - Individual Males 39 & under
  • 8:04 am - Second Wave (Olympic distance only) - Individual Males 40 & over
  • 8:08 am - Third Wave (Olympic distance only) - Individual Females, all Juniors, team swimmers & Aquabike
  • 8:10 am - Final access for Sprint/Super-Sprint distance transition area
  • 8:10 am - Duathlon starts
  • 8:10 am - First Wave (Sprint distance) staging begins
  • 8:15 am - First Wave (Sprint) begins - Males 39 & under
  • 8:18 am - Second Wave (Sprint) - Males 40 & over
  • 8:21 am - Third Wave (Sprint) - all Females, all Juniors
  • 8:25 am - Super-Sprint - all participants
  • 9:15 am - Food to be served
  • 10:30 am - Giveaway prizes (all participants will be in the drawing)
  • Awards (dependent upon category) - 9:30 am to 11:30 am.

One of the original multisport festivals in Arkansas...the 2020 DeGray Lake Triathlon will feature three triathlon distances (olympic, sprint and super sprint), a duathlon (sprint), aquabike (olympic) and an open water swim (olympic). There will be a team category for the olympic triathlon.

DeGray Lake is a reservoir on the Caddo River in Arkansas. This beautiful lake and surrounding Ouachita mountains near Hot Springs and Little Rock is an Arkansas resort state park.

Olympic Triathlon: 1,500 meter swim, 42 kilometer bike, 10 kilometer run.  Individuals and teams.
Sprint Triathlon: 500 yard swim, 13.5 mile bike, 5K run.  Individuals only
Super Sprint Triathlon: 225 yard swim, 6 mile bike, 2 mile run.  Individuals only
Sprint Duathlon: Run 1: 2 miles, Bike: 13.5 miles  Run 2:  3.1 miles
Aquabike (swim and bike only): 1,500 meter swim, 42 kilometer bike.  Individuals only
Open Water Swim: 1,500 meter swim

Race Venue Information:

  • DeGray Lake, Arkadelphia, AR
  • 2.5 miles North on Hwy 7 from Interstate 30, exit 78.  Turn left onto Skyline Drive.
  • Spillway Trail Head (The Spillway Dam Area) is rougly 8/10ths of a mile west of the intersection of Skyline Dr and Hwy 7.

Entry Fees Priced With A T-Shirt

Entry Fees are priced with a ringspun cotton t-shirt , but a participant has the option to select no t-shirt and SAVE $5 or upgrade fabric to a full sublimated technical wicking fabric shirt for $15. Shirt size not guaranteed after April 15. If a shirt is ordered and the size is not available then a refund will be issued at packet pickup.

  • Ringspun Cotton T-shirt (NO CHARGE) - 100% cotton unisex sizing.
  • Fully Sublimated Technical T-shirt ($15 upgrade fee) - A true moisture wicking-fabric shirt that has been engineered to keep you dry while you exercise. There are plenty of polyester shirts out there, but this one is the real deal. Both men and women specific sizing.  Example can be viewed HERE.

The DeGray Lake Triathlon is an All Sports Productions' promoted event. We are a sports event management and consulting company which promotes cycling, running, duathlons, triathlons, adventure runs and other outdoor events.
