Check out this 3.6-mile loop trail near Newbury Park, California. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 1 h 31 min to complete. This is a popular trail for birding, hiking, and mountain biking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.

Registration is open to qualified liberty patrons only. Liberty is defined as active duty single sailor (or airman) age 18-26, rank e1-e6, and geo-batchelors, currently assigned to NBVC. If your command requires approval to participate in events, you are responsible for procuring said approval before signing up. By registering you agree that you meet the qualifications listed above. Patrons who are not qualified liberty patrons, (e.g. non active duty, dependents, retirees, or DoD civilian) are NOT permitted on Liberty specific trips, but are encouraged to check out the many wonderful opportunities available through NBVC's MWR Community Recreation program.
Refunds are generally not issued. If you find that you are unable to attend after signing up, but before the trip, please let us know and ask a friend if they would be interested in replacing your spot. No call no shows will not be issued a refund and you will be reported to your command (even on free events)
