Location

Lisman Landing is a great, scenic site on the Milford Harbor. It's just 1/10 mi down from the Milford Green with many great restaurants, coffee shops and snack shacks. Stick around when you're done and take a walk around the green !

Description

The 8th Annual Milford Trick or Trot 5K Run/Walk to benefit The Beth-El Center in Milford, CT will take place on Saturday, October 26 at 9am. 

The event is sponsored by the law firm of Harlow, Adams, and Friedman, P.C. and Sikorsky Credit Union.

All abilities and ages are welcome to join in the fun. 

Gather a group of friends, family or co-workers, dress up in your favorite Halloween costume and enjoy a leisurely walk or great run through the seashore landscapes of Milford. This course is scenic and has some terrific water views! 

PLEASE Register ahead of time to guarantee a shirt & size.

PRE-Registration BY OCTOBER 12 will guarantee you a shirt size. All registrations after that date will be picking from any available shirts that remain at the event.

Online PRE Registration is $27 for 19 & over, $20 for 18 & under through 10/24. 

Registration is closed 10/25

Late registration starts 7:30am  on 10/26 and is $35 for all ages.

Our event is at Lisman Landing, 37 Helwig Street, Milford. 

The 5K Run & Walk is computer timed.  The 3.1mi course is a scenic route through the back roads near Milford Harbor and Fort Trumbull Beach, returning to Lisman Landing.

The free kids fun run starts at 8:40am & is not timed

It is approximately 1/10 mi long & limited to 12yrs & younger only. 

 

THE CHIPS PANCAKE TRUCK WILL BE DISHING OUT THEIR AWARD WINNING PANCAKES AFTER YOU FINISH !

Other snacks & fluids will also be available.


Prizes for best costumes will be awarded to-

Top 3 individuals, Top 3 groups, and Top pet.

 

Trophies, medals and awards are given to the overall male & female winners as well as to the first, second and third place finishers of the race by age group. (9& under, 10-13,14-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+ (and even 90).

 

Our dedicated and talented house band - "The Elwoods"  will be performing at Lisman Landing. They have added a great blend of rock n' blues rhythm to the Milford Trick or Trot festivities every year. 

 

Great events require great volunteers and sponsors. Please consider volunteering for this event or bringing someone who would like to contribute to the success of our event (and get to watch you!).

This race is directed by Marty Schaivone – M.S. Running Productions. 
MSRP helps to direct over 40 other events which last year raised over $300,000 for charities.

Using your own bib is extremely important for the event to be scored accurately. We also need you to use your bib for emergency services identification. Please do not exchange, give away or take another bib.  If there’s a reason for a different bib you must see the Race Director or the Head Timer at the finish line.
