Description

The Don Carmelo's Margarita Run is a 5K through charming East Norwalk. The race was founded by a group of friends who wanted to create a fun and festive running event that celebrates the best of East Norwalk. It's beautiful scenery, vibrant community, and love of margaritas.

The USATF Certified 3.1 mile course is a challenging, but scenic route that starts at Roger Ludlow Park, winds through the neighborhoods of East Norwalk, around Taylor Farm Park, to Calf Pasture Beach and back.  Racers will be greeted at the finish line with rachera music and a legendary margarita from Don Carmelo's.

All net proceeds will be donated to The Kevin M. Eidt Memorial Scholarship Fund, a 501(c)(3) charity. Your participation in the 5K will help create an opportunity for a deserving Norwalk High School student who may not have had the chance to attend college without outside financial support.
