Description

Join us Saturday October 17th for a 5K in Newark DE.

Run for Kids 5K benefits the organization Kids with Confidence.

KWC’s helps kids improve their self-confidence and self-esteem by making them feel better about how they look. Everyone deserves the chance to feel good about themselves, and your participation in this race makes that possible.

Parking

Free parking is available in the Lang Development lot behind Timothy's off of Paper Mill Road. Please see map below for details. 
PLEASE NOTE: Do NOT park in the Timothy's lot.
You can also park in the municipal lot behind Klondike Kate's on Main Street.

Virtual 5K information

What is a virtual 5K?

A virtual 5K is a race you can run or walk anytime and anywhere you like.  

How do I post my results for the 5K?

From now until Saturday October 17th you can submit your official time.
Click the results page HERE.
Click the Submit Virtual Results button on the right side.
Provide your information.
Submit your time.

*Remember this is on the honor system.

 

Will my results count for age group awards?

Your virtual results do not count towards age group awards.  However you can print off a finishers certificate online.

 

Will my shirt be mailed to me?

YES.  If you run/walk virtually, we will mail out your shirt post race.
