5k Poker Run

NO TIMING JUST FOR FUN & Exciting, Texas Holdem type Poker:)
Participants need to be 21 to play poker.

Winners will be announced after the 5K, You need not be present to win.

Every registered runner will receive a T-shirt after they finish the 5k.

Everyone registered will receive a Basket of Wing or a Personal Pizza.

At (IlPrimo) after they finish the 5k. BEER WILL BE ON TAP for a small cost.

Two Random Registered Participants will receive a 20$ Gift Card for DICK'S Sporting Goods. Given out after the event or (Mailed out after the event)

ONE Random Registered Participant will receive a $15 gift card to Los Dos Cristianos Coffee Shop North Port. Given out after event or (Mailed out after the event)

This is a Texas Holdem 5K event with the highest poker hand receiving $100 gift card and the one with
the worst poker hand receiving a  $75 gift card.
Yes, you are kinda Timed, we will have a clock so in the event of a poker hand tie, the fastest runner wins the hand.
No Medals. STRAIGHTS OVER FLUSHES 

The Winners of the poker hand need not be the fastest, just the luckiest. :)
You do NOT need to know how to play, you just need to pick up 2 cards as you run.

Start by running out of the park lot onto the sidewalk on 41, Turn right on Sumter Blvd, then turn around at the water stop/poker table receiving TWO CARDS then back to IlPrimo's to finish 3.1ish miles https://routes.rungoapp.com/route/wMVawO1U5N
DO NOT FORGET TO pick two cards from the table set out from the Volunteers at the water stop.
Runners will be encouraged to carry their own sustenance if you want something other then water.
Runners returning will place their cards on the table inside ILPrimo's, CARDS WILL THEN BE STAPLED TOGETHER AND YOUR NAME WRITTEN ON THEM, Runners will be encouraged to get there pizza or wings and hang with us.
If you are a winner and not present you will be notified by email and a check will be mailed.
