FLIPANY FUN RUN – IS GOING VIRTUAL!
RUNNERS, WALKERS, BIKERS & SPONSORS WELCOME!
For the health and safety of all involved, we are shifting this year’s FLIPANY FUN RUN 5K/10K to something we can do while social distancing.The 16th Annual Fun Run is going virtual. In addition to the virtual component, we have added the biking component. T-shirts, prizes and FUN remain a part of the event.
All funds will be used to provide healthy and nutritious meals in the communities hit hardest by COVID-19.
HOW OUR VIRTUAL RACE WORKS
STEP 1: REGISTER AND FUNDRAISE
Sign up for the event here and then tell the world! Set up and share your fundraising page.
STEP 2: GET YOUR PACKET
We’ve made it easier than pie. Your Fun Run Packet can be picked up or shipped directly to you. Contactless curbside packet pick up will be on Friday January 8, 2021 at FLIPANY! If you chose to have your packet mailed, sit tight at home and your race packet will come to you. Packets will begin arriving January 1, 2021.
STEP 3: DOWNLOAD THE COURSE APP
Search for RaceJoy on your phone’s app store and download for free. Search for the event and complete a short registration. Follow the on-screen instructions to test tracking and set up alerts. You can run, walk or bike anywhere!
STEP 4: PICK A DAY AND DO IT
Run, walk, or Bike any day within the run period (January 9-23). You can start and finish your race wherever you want, even your front door.
– Lace up and watch a special pre-recorded opening ceremony program at FLIPANY.org
– Open the RaceJoy app and press “Start.”
– Run, Walk, or Bike your chosen distance ( 5K, 10K)
– Post your results using an easy pop-up button on RaceJoy
STEP 5: SHOW OFF
Don't forget to send us pictures in your race shirts/masks, race team, or videos of your run, walk, or bike route to help us raise awareness about our mission and we’ll share it on social media! Don’t forget to tag us on social media and hashtag #FLIPANYFunRun

STEP 6: CELEBRATE WITH US
