Too often in life, we are racing to the next event, the next thing to do on our list, the next stage of life. We look back on the years and ask where has the time gone? SMARD reminds us that life is not a race; it is a journey. A life altering diagnosis forces you to slow down and live today, because we don't know what tomorrow will bring.
This Thanksgiving, walk, run, or roll in support of someone you love who is bravely facing a SMARD diagnosis. Walk for someone who inspires you to live in the moment and to be thankful for every breath. Walk for someone whose smile brings you joy. Walk for someone you love and have lost. Walk so that others in the future won't face the same challenges we face today.
All proceeds support smashSMARD, a non-profit organization currently funding gene therapy research to develop life-saving treatment for those with SMARD and CMT2S. Help us make a difference for SMARD families!
