GlobaLou 5K Run/Walk

See the world in 3.1 miles! This family friendly 5K Run/Walk will take place on Saturday, June 3rd at the Iroquois Park in South Louisville. A timed run will start at 8:00 am followed by a 5K walk at 9:00 am. The GlobaLou 5K Run/Walk will support the Americana World Community Center, a non-profit that helps immigrant, refugee and underserved residents bridge the gap from surviving to thriving! We encourage you to represent your heritage by wearing colors or flags from your country of origin or cultural heritage.  

The top three male and female runners will receive a medal, and all participants will be entered into a raffle to win swag. Children participants will receive a voucher for a cool treat! We invite all participants to stick around the amphitheater after the event to join us for our annual World Festival, GlobaLou 2017, a free event that will feature a Kid Zone with bouncy houses, face painting, arts and crafts, live music, crafts and handmade goods, a health fair and a variety of ethnic food.
