Gotta Catch Em All Wildlife Challenge

Starting in 2022 we are going to bring a new tradition and challenge to our athletes. Competing year after year is fun and awesome when you are supporting a worthy cause such as the Stockton Community Foundation. Having an event shirt from years past saying "I competed years ago" OR " I have raced this event every year" is a super cool thing. Everyone has their favorite race shirts and loves to show them off. Gotta Catch Em All Wildlife Challenge begins at the 2022 event with everyone that participants in the 2022 event.

This Year (2023):

  • Participants will wear the 2022 Shirt "Year of the Deer" to the event on race morning
  • Post race survey will be sent after the race and for participants to vote on which animal will be next in the Gotta Catch Em All Wildlife Challenge for 2024

Next Year (2024):

  • Participants will wear the shirt that coincides with the first shirt they have in the Gotta Catch Em All Wildlife Challenge.
  • Ex. Participants who competed in the 2022 event will wear the "Year of the Turtle" Shirt. Participants that did not race 2022, and the 2023 event is their first Wildlife Challenge Event will wear the 2023 shirt/animal.
  • This will continue year after year and soon we will have a bunch of different animals part of the Gotta Catch Em All Wildlife Challenge running around ! Participants that have competed since 2022 will be able to show off their "Year of the Turtle" Shirt year after year with pride.
