Four on the Fourth is the first race of the 3 race series, Le Tour de Carrboro. The 4 mile race starts at 8 a.m. on Monday, July 4, at McDougle Middle School, 900 Old Fayetteville Rd, Chapel Hill, NC 27516.
Online registration will close on Friday, July 1, at midnight. Registration will again be available at Fleet Feet Carrboro during Bib Pickup, and race day morning.
Bib pickup will be available at Fleet Feet in Carrboro on Saturday, July 2, from 1-6 pm, and on Sunday, July 3, from 12-5 pm.
You may also pick up your bib on race day morning at McDougle, 6:30-7:45 am.
Race entries are not refundable and are not transferable, i.e., you cannot give your bib number to someone else. By doing so, the results (awards, age group, and overall) will be incorrect.
The race begins in front of McDougle Middle School, winds through downtown Carrboro and its neighborhoods, and finishes on the McDougle track.
Please carpool and arrive early for parking. There are 3 lots in front of McDougle and a fourth lot behind the school (off of Hillsborough, and the lot to use if you are later than 7:50 am, since Old Fayetteville will be closed).
There is additional parking available at Hank Anderson Community Park, located off of Highway 54.
"Little Firecracker" races are FREE for children aged 2-9 and will be held after the race at approximately 9:30 (after the awards ceremony).

We encourage everyone to join us at our events. If you want to walk the course, that's great. However, if the trailing police car passes you, you must follow normal pedestrian rules -- move to the sidewalk or side of the road. Our timing service tries to capture the time for everyone who crosses the finish line, so even if the police close the course, you should receive a finish time.
