Welcome to 16th Annual Johnston Health Gobble Waddle event presented by HealthQuest Fitness and Wellness Center. It is a timed run and fun walk event for all ages and fitness levels – definitely family, stroller, and dog friendly. Please remember that all dog participants must be friendly and on a fixed leash at all times. Owners must also be sure to clean up behind their dogs.
The Thanksgiving holiday is a time of giving and it’s important to remember those in our community who need your help. All participants are asked to bring at least five items of canned food to the event or drop them off at HealthQuest. Canned goods will be donated to our partner food bank agencies right here in our community.
All entry fees are non-refundable and include a participant t-shirt, finisher prize for youth under the age of 17, snacks, water, timer, and transaction fees. Preferred t-shirt sizes are not guaranteed for those registering after October 15.

Until September 10: $30 per person
September 11 - November 18: $35 per person
10K Run
Until September 10: $40 per person
September 11 - November 18: $45 per person
RACE DAY SCHEDULE
Registration/Packet Pickup: 8:00 - 8:30 a.m.
5K/10K Start: 9:00 a.m.
Awards ceremony to follow.
AWARDS (for live event only)
5K: 6-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-99
10K: 6-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-99
Awards will be given to the top 2 male and top 2 female finishers for each age category. Prizes will be given to the 1st place overall male and female for both the 5K and 10K events.

We are happy to announce that the 15th annual Gobble Waddle 5K/10K will be held on, Saturday, November 18th, 2023! On this day, we are expecting an outpouring of participates to join together, with us, for a great cause and to simply have great fun and fellowship during the event.
Sponsorship opportunities are available at various levels, and we need your assistance to not only fund the Gobble Waddle event, but also to fund the Healthy Kids Program of HealthQuest Fitness & Wellness Center in Smithfield, NC.

Non-Perishable Food Drive:
As you know, the Thanksgiving holiday is right around the corner! Let’s remember that this holiday is special time of giving and it's important to remember those in our community who need your help. Beginning November 1st until November 31st, HealthQuest Fitness & Wellness Center will be collecting canned goods in the main entrance. We also encourage you to bring non-perishable canned goods on the day of the event. All collections will be donated to our partner local food bank agencies.
