UPDATE for 2026! Due to ongoing construction on Fort Monmouth at the location of the race, Shamrock N' Roll will now take place in Asbury Park. Join us at Stone Pony for some good old fashioned St. Patrick's Day fun and let's shamrock n' roll!
Priority Registration opens Tuesday, January 13th at 10:00 AM. This is where you and up to three friends can register for a discounted price if you participated in Shamrock N' Roll, Skeleton Run, or Asbury Park Santa Run in 2025.
Just login to Runsignup using your name and email from previous registrations and go to the Registration page below to unlock access. The additional three friends do not need to have signed up previously. Only the main ticket buyer.
General On Sale will start Thursday, January 15th at 10:00 AM for all other participants.
All participants receive their very own leprechaun suit, closed course, chip-timed results, and a special live performance from Brian Kirk & the Jirks at the Stone Pony plus other after parties to be announced.
A portion of proceeds from the event will be donated to Asbury Park's Rodeo For Recreation fund to support youth summer camps and recreation programs in the city.
Shamrock N’ Roll 5K is created and organized by Beacon Events, the event management company behind other great races such as The Beer Run, Run The Hook, Asbury Park Santa Run, Skeleton Run & more.

All race registrations are non-refundable, but you can transfer to someone else to run in your place by doing a transfer through Runsignup.

Dogs are allowed in the event area on leash, but not on the course.
Yes, but please remain aware of passing runners and do not block with width of the course. Children in strollers do not need to register.

There is street parking available near the venue in Asbury Park. Please do not park on the course roads.
Yes, the course will be open for 90 minutes.
Yes, at Stone Pony starting at 8:30 AM. Unless the race reaches capacity, then no tickets will be sold.
The race will start and finish outside Stone Pony on Ocean Ave.

Yes, a water station will be located on 4th Ave about halfway through the race. There will also be water at the finish line.
Yes, there will be bathrooms at the start/finish area.
No, walkers are welcome to participate too. Please remain aware of passing runners while on the course and do not walk in large groups blocking the width of the road.
