Move for PMP is a virtual challenge to come together as a community to support the Paterson Music Project.
Join our team and help complete 5,000 miles for Paterson Music Project in the months of July and August! Participants can complete the miles any way they like-by walking, running, cycling, swimming... in past years we even had a surfer!
Participation is free, but we encourage all participants to support Paterson Music Project by creating a fundraising page. Help us provide ongoing after-school programming by sharing your page to your contacts via email or social media. All funds raised will provide crucial support to provide tuition-free after-school music education to our dedicated youth musicians in over 25 Paterson schools.

Paterson Music Project
Now in its 10th Anniversary Season, the Paterson Music Project (PMP) creates a supportive community centered on the joyful pursuit of musical excellence, empowering and equipping children to achieve their full potential. We believe in the positive and unifying influence music and the performing arts have in people’s lives and in our communities.
Your donation will provide children in Paterson with free musical training during after-school hours. Our students study a primary instrument and participate in ensemble practice and instrumental sectionals. Students perform frequently for their schools and community.
