Description

The Equinox Trail Endurance Run 2022

It is scheduled for Saturday June 18, 2022 at the Washington Crossing State Park in New Jersey. The event will be similar to past Equinox Trail events in that we’ll have an all-day Trail Run, on a looped course, starting/ending at the Greene Grove pavilion. This is a members/family only, "Come out and Play on Trails" event.  The Equinox is free to members and their families, yet donations are encouraged to help defer some of the the cost. Food and refreshments will be provided for the runners throughout the day.
Originally created in 2008, as a compilation of all the BCRR Winter Series courses, The Equinox offered members a challenge of seeing how far they could run. Several individuals and teams achieved the 50 mile total that first year. This Equinox 2.0, Trail Version provides a similar opportunity to test your endurance limits, on soft dirt trails
The trail run will take place on a well-marked ~5 mile trail loop. You will have 11 hours to run as many or as few loops as you want. Loops to be run in alternating directions We will award a men’s and women’s distance achievers based on total mileage throughout the day. Otherwise, this is a non-competitive fun event. Run as much or as little as you want, hang out and chat with friends. The trails in the park are beautiful and this will be a great day to come together as a club to enjoy the day! Come get your dirt on.
