Dear Peddler's Village Family Fit Fest 2020 Registrants,

At Scoogie Events, our number one priority is and always has been the safety & well-being of each and every one of you. Our team considers it a privilege to serve this special community.

Even though we ARE getting closer to being able to hold a live event, due to the uncertainty around the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, Buckingham Township, Solebury Township, Peddler's Village & the Scoogie Events Team have made the decision to POSTPONE The Peddler's Village Family Fit Fest originally scheduled for Saturday, June 27th.

The event is not canceled, it’s postponed.  Your registration will automatically be honored on the new date. The event will happen at a later undetermined date with just as much, if not more, fun as you have come to expect from a Scoogie Event.

We are anticipating moving into the GREEN PHASE at the end of June and should we then move on from there and be able to have more than 250 total people at the event,
we will then schedule the event😀

But, who knows WHEN that will be...August? September? 
We will for sure keep you posted!

Our second priority after the safety of everyone, is to treat our customers as they should be treated….(like gold.)

It is our promise to you that when the Peddler's Village Family Fit Fest does happen, you can be assured that we will pull out ALL the stops to make it the best event ever.
Let's hope that we can make it happen in July🙌

The Peddler’s Village Family Fit Fest Event is located in beautiful Bucks County and is everything but ordinary!
Discover an historic village with charming colonial-style buildings, award-winning gardens, and distinctive shopping, dining, and lodging.
For more than 55 years, visitors have followed the winding brick pathways to experience exceptional dining, explore the best of Bucks County shopping, enjoy family fun at Giggleberry Fair, escape from the everyday to a getaway at the Golden Plough Inn, and celebrate favorite traditions at seasonal festivals and annual events.
And now, for the first time ever, you will be able to run through the beautiful brick walkways of Peddler’s Village!

If you run your event in a costume, you will be entered in the "Best Costume Contest" or feel free to run in your normal run attire!

The three events at The Peddler’s Village Family Fit Fest will consist of a flat & fast 5k, a 1/2-Mile kid's fun run and a 1-Mile fitness walk.
Each of these special events will take participants right through historic Peddler’s Village TWICE before they cross the finish line on a completely close Street Rd.

AMENITIES:
Instant state of the art race bib embedded chip timed results available at finish for the 5k. Results texted and emailed to you as you cross the finish line as well as posted within minutes of the events completion.  

FREE snow cones for all registered kids that run the kids’ run (coupon on race bib) as well as snacks from Herr’s, Clif Bar or MANY local businesses.

Hewn Spirits Distillery will be on hand sampling some of their BRAND new creations as well as offering specials to all registered runners over the age of 21. Hewn Spirits celebrates a love of locally grown grains, the art of hand-crafted distilling, and the “spirit” of old, unique and rare reclaimed woods. The result?  Spirits with uncommon depth, smoothness and complexity.

On-site parking. Plenty of restrooms available...(We know you don't like lines:-)

COURSE DESCRIPTION: flat & fast (with a few rollers) 5k, a 1/2-Mile kid's fun run and a 1 mile fitness walk. Participants will run or walk right through the center of historic Peddler’s Village TWICE before they cross the finish line on a completely closed Street Rd.

There will be a water stop at the 1 mile mark for the 5k runners.

Packet Pickup for this race will be at Hewn Spirits Distillery on both Thursday, June 25th 5:00-7:00 pm

RACE DAY: Check in for 5K. Kid’s Run & walk will be from 7:15-8:35 am.
No new registrations taken after 8:35 am. And, the event will most likely be SOLD OUT way before race day.

NOTE: We do not issue any refunds, transfers or credits. This event is a rain/shine event.

Kid's Run starts at 8:50 am, RUN THE VILLAGE 5K starts at 9:05 am & the 1 Mile Fitness Walk starts at 9:10 am.


AWARDS: 
"You ask for it.....we deliver": From now on, ALL Scoogie events age group awards will be in FIVE YEAR age increments!! Awesome awards for age groups in the 5k run! Awards given for 5k only, Kids Run is for FUN! Overall winner (male and female), plus top three males and females in each age category: AND A BRAND NEW AGE CATEGORY (9 & UNDER!!) 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59 60-64, 65-69, 70 & over. No mailing of awards or shirts. If you have to leave the race early for ANY reason, you must notify us to save your award.  If you do not, we cannot hold/store awards and will likely be given to a race day entry or someone else. It is simply too much to hold/store & inventory the awards. 

Note: If you are registered for this race and you registered in time to choose your giveaway (special edition tech tee) BUT you are unable to run for whatever reason, you will NEED TO CONTACT us BEFORE RACE DAY and let us know if you'd like us to hold on to your reserved giveaway for you to pick up at a future Scoogie Event. If you do not do this, we cannot hold your shirt and it will be given to someone that registered after the deadline. We cannot mail shirts.

2. Do I need to pay for registration with my child for the 1/2 Mile Kid's Fun Run?

YES. Parents CAN join the Giggleberry Fair 1/2-Mile Kids’ Run with their children but MUST register and have a race bib for the 1-Mile Village Fitness Walk. (this is a MUST for liability & safety reasons)

3. Do I need to be 21 to participate?

No, but you do need to be 21 to enjoy some Hewn Spirits Distillery specials on hand after the race!

4.How do I receive a Race Day giveaway (top)?

We will email registration confirmations to EVERYONE that registers.

10. What does registration cover?
