Kenny's Coaster Race WILL NOT take place in 2023
It is with great sadness that we are discontinuing Kenny's Coaster Race in 2023. After a great run, dating back to 2015 when it was called "The Roller Coaster Race", the sun has set. We thank everyone for their support over the years and for always being so generous with your donations to the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank. We hope that someday, we can bring this race back but for now, please continue to support the food bank and make a donation today.

Description
Come celebrate Kennywood's 125th Anniversary with an amazing 5k race or NEW FOR 2022 a 1 Mile walk.
This fun and fast 5k runs through the nation's best family amusement park, Kennywood. Located in West Mifflin, PA, a stones throw from Pittsburgh, this park has created memories for generations of families. Now is your chance to run a race through the park, past all your favorite rides and make new memories with your family and friends. Then stay after to enjoy all the food, rides, games and fun with a full day pass that is included with your registration!
NEW 1 MILE OPTION for the 125TH CELEBRATION
If the 5k is just a little too long the come do the 1 MILE. The 1 mile walk will start 5 minutes after the 5k run and will go directly into the park where participants will get an exclusive, before the park opens, view of Kennywood and all its famous rides and attractions.
RACE OPTIONS and DETAILS
Participants have the option of 2 unique registrations.
- Kenny's Coaster Race + Park Ticket (LIVE or VIRTUAL)
- This option is for participants who do not have a season pass
- This option includes 1 full admission ticket and is good for any day during the 2022 operating season.
- Virtual participants will have the option to pick up in person or have their items mailed to them for an additional fee
- Kenny's Coaster Race for Season Pass Holders (LIVE or VIRTUAL)
- Participants who choose this option MUST ENTER THEIR SEASON PASS NUMBER at the time of registration.
- This option is not available to non-season pass holders and does not include a park ticket.
- Virtual participants will have the option to pick up in person or have their items mailed to them for an additional fee
RACE DAY DETAILS

- Participants will be able to run the race on June 5th.
- The race will begin in the parking lot area and finish inside the park.
- Spectators are not allowed in the park during the race.
- All participants must exit the park after completing their race.
- Participants will be able to re-enter the park beginning at 11:00 am during regular operating hours.
- Participants will need to adhere to all Kennywood Park policies and procedures.
SWAG
- All participants will receive a custom finishers medal and commemorative t-shirt.
- This year's medal will feature the Potato Patch Chef racing down the first drop of the Phantom's Revenge on his way to make those amazing fries. The chef moves and will race to the bottom.
- Participants will also receive a full admission ticket to be used on the day of the race (or on any 2022 operating day).
- NOTE: Season pass holders will receive a discounted registration in lieu of a park admission ticket.
