Cottonmouth Beerlay

Lakewood Nature Preserve

BYOB Event!

Welcome back to the Annual Cottonmouth Beerlay! This one will be one for the history books! We have literally combined two of the best things in the world... Drinking and Running. While not traditionally put together this chemistry experiment is bound to have some "explosive" results! Individuals and Relay runners will have a chance to perform a few trail loops at Lakewood Nature Preserve with a little bit of liquid courage to get you to the finish line. Run solo, with your best friend, or on a team of 3 or 4 to complete the 8 Mile course. Beer option only available for those 21 and older.

The Preserve at Lakewood is a 120-acre parcel of land which features forest land, dirt trails, parking for 200, and of course, The Sustainability Education Center. The land is home to countless plant/animal species. Upon visiting, you can see red cedar and maple, hickory and flowering dogwood trees, white-tailed deer, eastern cottontail, woodchucks, box turtles, various types of mockingbirds, woodpeckers, blue jays and more.
