The 2020 Ville to Ville Craft Brew Relay is Sold Out.

The Ville to Ville Craft Brew Relay will be held on November 7, 2020. The first flight of teams will start the relay around 5:00 am at Hampton Station in Greenville, SC.  Over the next few hours, additional teams will depart on their journey through South Carolina. Each team will consist of three to six runners who will split 12 legs ranging from 3-9 miles. Each team will provide their own race vehicle to drop off and pick up runners at designated transition areas along the course route. Ville to Ville teams will arrive at Hampton Station and Birds Fly South Ale Project in Greenville, SC between 1:00-8:00 pm for a finish line celebration which will include music, food, and of course, craft brews.

TEAM PAYMENTS

All teams will be required to pay a deposit of $255 during your initial registration and will have the option to pay the entire fee of $705. Teams that only pay the deposit must pay the remainder of your team fee ($450) by September 26, 2020, at midnight.   Teams with unpaid fees on September 27, 2020, will lose their spot in the race and their non-refundable deposit. Team rosters should be finalized by October 3, 2020. There is a 5.5% processing fee on all online payments.

Friday, November 6 – Yee-Haw Brewing Company - 307 E McBee Ave, Greenville, SC 29601 - Time 12-8pm , Drive-Thru Open 4-7pm
Saturday, November 7 - Hampton Station, 1320 Hampton Ave, Greenville, SC 29601 - Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your start time. 

*Only captains are required to come to the packet pickup event. Teams are encouraged to carpool. The course running and driving directions can be found in our Guidebook.

TEAM VOLUNTEERS

If anyone on your team lives within 100 miles of Asheville, NC or Greenville, SC, you are required to provide one race-day volunteer or pay the $100 volunteer fee. Please visit our VOLUNTEER PAGE to find out more.

AGE & ID REQUIREMENTS

All runners must be 21 years old or older to participate in the Ville to Ville Craft Brew Relay and proper identification will be required during packet pick-up to verify age.

TEAM NAME

Be creative, but keep it classy. Your team name will appear in lots of public places, so make sure it is one that would make your mother proud. You will submit your team name during registration, but it can be changed until October 3, 2020.

TEAM CATEGORIES

Ultra Male (3 runners, 1-3 males)
Ultra Female (3 runners, all female)
Open Co-ed (minimum of 2 females)
Open Male ( all male team or all males plus 1 female)
Open Female (all females)
Masters Male (all male team or all males plus 1 female, all members 40+)
Masters Female (all females, all members 40+)
Masters Co-ed (minimum of 2 females, all members 40+)
Virtual - all genders and ages

TEAM CAPTAIN

Each team will have a team captain (we will initially use the name and contact info of the person registering.) We will provide regular race information and updates for the team captain on our Captain Resources page and through monthly email newsletters.

TEAM PACE

In order to make it to the post-race party in one day, it is mandatory to have a team pace of 10:30 minutes per mile or less.  This doesn’t mean that everyone on the team has to run at this pace, but it does mean that if you have slower team members, you will need faster team members to keep your team on track.

You will estimate a team pace when you register your team with an average min/mile pace for all runners on the entire course.  For a 6-person team, each runner will run twice between 3-9 miles, so a 8K time average would be expected. CANCELLATION / WEATHER

This is a rain or shine event. The race director has the right to change the course or change the event in case of inclement weather.  More details on our weather policy can be found in our GUIDEBOOK.
