Great Gobble Wobble (Milwaukee)

Parking is available at the Boerner Botanical Gardens. Please enter off of 92nd street. Whitnall Park Dr will be closed.

This 5K course starts at the Boerner Botanical Gardens and winds through the roads of Whitnall Park. The course has a few ups and downs, but nothing too aggressive. This should be a good course for runners or walkers of any ability. Strollers are permitted.

There will be one aid station on course (see course map). 5K runners will pass the aid station twice. Aid stations will have water and sports drink.

Everyone who is registered by 11:59 am Friday, November 15 will be guaranteed a custom cotton unisex Gobble Wobble t-shirt. After that, t-shirts will be available while online supplies last. Any extra shirts will be distributed after the race on a first come, first served basis. About tshirts.

You do not need to print it, but we will need to scan the QR code on the email receipt, so please have your email accessible on your mobile device or save a picture of your receipt with the QR code to your device’s image library. We strongly encourage you to pick up your packet early.

Teams
We will bundle all packets for teams with more than 6 members. The team captain, or designee must pick up the team's packets.

Picking up more than one packet
If you are picking up for more than one person, please do the following:
1. Put all of their QR codes on one sheet of paper OR
2. Write all of their names on one sheet of paper (last name, first name, tshirt).

That will make your life a whole lot easier when you go to hand out the info to your team.

It's back for the 2023-24 Chilly Willy Series Races -- Our famous hot chocolate bar!!!

Meet your friends after the race for a quick warm up at our hot chocolate bar. Complete with a huge selection of the tastiest treats, you'll find all you need to make a great cup of hot Chocolate after a cold run. You'll find our hot chocolate bar at all of our 2023-24 Chilly Willy Series runs. We'll also typically announce awards after the race over a nice cup of hot chocolate, so its definitely the place to be after the race!

Your race time and age group result are available online after you cross the finish line - select RESULTS from the menu above. All runners will receive a finisher woodle from Ridgeway Woodworks and the top 3 male & female finishers in 5-year age groups will receive a custom woodle. An awards ceremony will take place at the race. Awards can also be picked up after the race at Silver Circle's Global Headquarters in Oconomowoc, WI.

Your age is based on the date of the last event in the Chilly Willy Winter Run Series.

The Average Joe & Jane Awards are back for the Chilly Willy Series 5K Runs are are presented to the male and female runner who finished in the exact middle of all runners. Winners will receive a t-shirt and custom medal! 

At registration checkout, you will be given the option to share to Facebook that you've registered for a super fun event with SCSE! For every 3 people you get to register for the same event using your unique link, you'll get $10 back from your registration.

On your emailed registration receipt, there will be a registration link that you can forward to your friends to let them know they should join you on your next adventure! For every 3 friends you get to register for the event using your unique email link, you'll get $10 back on your registration!

We need volunteers for everything from aid station support to course marshals. If you or your group have an interest in volunteering, we would greatly appreciate the assistance. The race is chip timed by Silver Circle Sports Events, LLC with a chip start. Your time will start when you cross the start line and stops when you cross the finish line.

How to wear your bib.

Insurance is available for almost all of our events. The insurance is offered through a third party.

Refunds are not permitted for any reason.

The event will be held unless severe weather occurs. In the event of severe weather, the race director may delay or cancel the event. If the event is canceled, there will be no refunds. Silver Circle Sports Events has a NO REFUND policy.

How to transfer, defer, change shirt sizes and change distances

• Login into RunSignUp.com
• Select your Profile.
• Scroll down to the race you would like to modify.
• Select "Manage Registration".
• All of your options will be listed in the menu.
• *Deferrals must be completed 10 days prior to event.
