Q: How can I register?
Registration is online only.
Q: Why are there processing fees?
Credit card processing fees are charged through our online registration company as a percentage of registration.
Q: I got hurt and cannot run, can my friend run in my place?
We understand the many circumstances that may not allow you to be with your team on race day. We do allow you to transfer registrations from one team member to another if you cannot participate.
This is a VIRTUAL event which means you can complete your 5K (or 3.1 miles) from anywhere in the world, at any time during the event days,
WEDNESDAY, NOV. 24 - FRIDAY, NOV. 26 2021
You will track your miles using any method you choose and submit them online (see instructions below) but this is not necessary to participate.
Q: When will I get my finisher's medal?
All finisher's medals will ship out after the completion of the Race Day(s), via USPS. There will be an extra shipping charge for all participants outside of the United States.
Q: Do I have to run or walk all 3.1miles (5K) at once?
NO! You can split the distance up any way you choose. Want to do 1 mile each day? GREAT! Want to run the whole thing in 15 minutes or try to set a world record? Go for it! The point is getting out there, doing something healthy with your family and friends and raising money for a great organization and cause!
Q: How do I get my Virtual Race Number?
Go to your account and log in: https://runsignup.com/Profile
Scroll down to Upcoming Events, then click link for VIEW DIGITAL BIB
You can then easily share your bib on social media or print to post on a wall as a self-motivator as you complete the race!
Q: How do I submit my miles? (OPTIONAL)
All miles need to be submitted manually. Track your miles using any fitness device or app of your choice! Note that entering your miles is optional, however, you don't want to miss out on being on the Leaderboard, and if you are a part of a team, your miles will be included with the team's totals. Note that it may take a few minutes for results to appear on the results page once data has been entered onto a user's profile.
Instructions to log your miles:
Q: Why am I listed as anonymous in the results?
When you create an account, you have an option to be listed as anonymous in results. If you do not want this, go into your https://runsignup.com profile and click to edit profile. You will see a checkbox at the bottom that you want to UNCHECK to be listed again.
Q: How do I get my Finisher's Certificate?
Go to the Results page
Find your results and click on your name
Click Certificate
Q: What do I wear on Race Day?
Most importantly good running shoes, even if you’re walking! Choose comfortable shirts, shorts, and socks. If you are a member of Inspire Church, wear your IC gear to represent! If you are running/walking at night we suggest bright colors and reflective materials. Check your local weather report daily and choose the best time to get outside on any of the 3 race days. You can always run on the treadmill as well!
Q: How do I form a team?
You can create a team very easily on the main registration page or GO HERE! By creating the team, you become the team captain. If you are participating in the race you must register yourself as well.
Q: Do I have to be a Member of a Team to run?
NO! Although we encourage you to form a team because everything is more fun when you do it together, you are not required to be on a team to participate.
Q: What constitutes a team?
Minimum 3 people. Co-Ed Teams must have at least 1 member of the opposite sex.
Q: What does it mean to become the team captain?
As team captain, you will create a team for your group and will need to know some basic information like the address, phone number and email addresses. When setting up the team you will be the financial representative of your group. You can always set up the team for members to each pay for themselves. We also ask that you know some basics about the race like date, time, and location all found on the website and how to register in case any of your team members might need some assistance.
Q: Does my team need to wear the same color on race day?
We highly recommend team spirit by wearing team colors or dressing up! However, you do not need to physically be together and run the race together to be considered a team.
Q: Why is there a $50 fundraising goal for each participant?
While this goal is certainly not a requirement to participate, we know that together we can accomplish so much more than we could on our own, so we encourage each person to get their friends and family involved for a cause that everyone can support.
Q: How do my friends and family sponsor me in my $50 goal?
When you register as a participant, you will be given a unique fundraising link. You can send that link to all of your friends and family through email, text messages or social media. We've provided you with a Fundraising Toolkit full of email templates, social media graphics and templates and more to make it super simple to reach your goal!
Your family and friends can also visit our main race page, HERE, and click on DONATE at the top. In the box labeled "Search Fundraisers," they will search for your name and be able to make a donation on your behalf.
Q: Can I raise more than the $50 recommended sponsorship goal?
Absolutely! There is no limit to the amount you can fundraise!
Thank you! Your message was posted to Facebook.
