Cancelled! See you in 2021 under a full moon
2020 GARMIN DIRTY KANZA UPDATE

We hope you are staying well! The Life Time team has been working around the clock to make the best decisions regarding our 2020 events given the COVID-19 crisis, and we want to update you on the status of our Lunar Kanza event.

Although we were looking forward to being together next month, it is with the well being of our athletes, staff, and the community of Emporia that we have decided to cancel our 2020 Lunar Kanza event.

The decision to cancel Lunar Kanza has not been made lightly, and we are offering two options for your registration:

Option 1- Defer your 2020 entry to the 2021(July 24, 2021) Lunar Kanza

Option 2- Full refund of your entry fee (excluding service fees)

Please make your selection by 7/15/2020!

This year has brought new challenges and this season is feeling the effects, but we encourage you to still get out on your bike and safely celebrate this sport we all love.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions.

We look forward to seeing you at a future event!

Onwards,

The Dirty Kanza Team

*Please note you will NOT receive a confirmation after making your selection. If you select the deferral option, you will receive a confirmation email after the deferral is worked. Description

Lunar Kanza is not a race… it is a fun, leisure night-time bike ride, conducted under a new moon on the gravel roads surrounding Emporia, Kansas. Historically, we have journeyed into the Flint Hills with the Full Moon as our guide. This year's New Moon is quite different, as there will literally be no moon! Lights will be important (and required). Riders will be treated to stunning views of the stars and Milky Way that only the Flint Hills can provide. The courses will take participants from downtown Emporia, out onto the gravel roads of the Flint Hills region of east-central Kansas. Please register by June 26th 11:59 PM CST to have your bike plate personalized!
