Angie's Fun Run

Angie's Fun run will be held at the Holton Rehab & Wellness Center in Holton, KS across from Boomer's Bar and Grill. Angie is currently fighting cancer and the run/walk is being held to help raise money to pay for her medical expenses. You can find her story listed below and t-shirts can be purchased by September 23rd if you are not able to attend but would like to help support or money can be donated to help pay for her medical expenses.

Angie's Story

Angie and Kevin Rawlings have been together since 1987 and are celebrating 24 years of marriage. Kevin grew up in Mayetta and Angie moved to Holton near age 16. You may know the couple from their involvement in the Holton community. Kevin was very well-known from his employment at Walmart until the couple opened All Around Sweets in 2007. As business owners, they were active in the Chamber of Commerce, Main Street, Fall Festival and, business women. They also volunteered with the Lions Club and Sertoma. Kevin coached sport teams for their two daughters Crystalynn and Stephanie who graduated from Holton High in 03’ and 04’ and love to help with their two granddaughters. Angie was diagnosed in 2009 and had a breast cancer nodule removed. Later in 2012, 12 cancer ridden lymph nodes were removed and in 2015 the breast cancer turned terminal when it metastasized in the lungs and in 2016 was then found in her brain.
