Description

Do you love fall family fun? Or do you love helping raise money for cancer research to support your loved ones? Now you can do both!
The Boo Radley foundation is a non-profit organization specializing in increasing research comparative medicine, which finds the links between the health of our furry friends and the people around us. Our founder, Ken Johnson, became inspired to help others after losing his dog, Boo, to a glioblastoma. Increasing the foundations funds will increase research in this area will get people, and pets, closer to a cure.
Our 5K encourages our participants to dress in costume, and their dog running companions in costume as well. These runners will get be up for additional prizes if doing so. After our halloween themed 5K, participants will enjoy fall festival games, delicious food, tons of halloween candy, and an award and prize ceremony to end our festivities. There will be fun had by all!
Registation opens at 7:00 AM, and race time begins at 8:00 AM
In order to be guaranteed a T-Shirt, please register by October 3rd. However, extras will be ordered for participants who order between Oct 3rd through the Oct 16th.
Registration fee is $25, and includes a T-Shirt and participant medal. If you wait until the week of the race to register, the fee is raised to $30, and you will only receive a participant medal. So it pays to register early. I hope to see you there!
