Description
Join us for (a re-do of) the 5th Annual Walk Kansas 5K for the Fight and 1.5-Mile Fun Walk Sat., May 7, 2022!
Sponsored by K-State Research and Extension in conjunction with its statewide fitness initiative, Walk Kansas, this event is an opportunity for Walk Kansas participants and anybody else to get together and celebrate their wellness efforts and successes, and support Kansas State University's Johnson Cancer Research Center. Run or walk the timed 5K or non-timed 1.5-mile Fun Walk while also supporting a great cause!
Route maps, early packet pick-up and parking info are available on the Johnson Cancer Research Center's website.
Children 7 and under do not have to be registered for the 5K or 1.5-mile Fun Walk unless a shirt is wanted (Youth Med - XL only).
A Kids' Fun Run will be held around 10:00, right after the medals are awarded at 9:45. This event is free, but we ask people to preregister for planning purposes.
