Yellow Brick Run 2017

The Yellow Brick Runi is a 13.1 mile half marathon between the communities of Osborne and Downs in beautiful North Central Kansas. The event is open to all ages and has three categories: walk, run, or bike. Entrants can participate alone or on relay teams. The event is sponsored by the Osborne and Downs Chambers of Commerce and raises funds for the Osborne Area Chamber of Commerce Scholarship and Downs Junior Chamber Scholarship.

Registration for all events is $30 through April 3, 2017. Registration fee increases to $40 after April 3, 2017.  Online registration will close April 19th, but registration will also be available the day of the race.

Race Start for Both Bicycle Events: 8:30 a.m. at Osborne Public Library.
Race Start for Running Event • 9 a.m. at Osborne Public Library.

13.1-MILE ROUTE: Begin at Osborne Public Library, continues east on Main Street (CR 388), turns left on Highway 181, continues on Morgan Avenue in Downs, and finishes at the Lakeside High School.

EXTENDED BIKE ROUTE: An extended bike route will be available that day for those who wish to do so.

Transportation will be provided for participants to get to Osborne from Downs after morning registration.

Community Hamburger Lunch: $5 per person ~ Noon - 2 p.m. at State Bank of Downs
