This is the second annual Miles for Marilyn School 2 School Memorial 5K race hosted by Tonganoxie High School's Cross Country program in honor of Marilyn Weller to provide a scholarship opportunity to Seniors at THS. Marilyn Weller graduated from the University of Kansas and worked as a Physical Therapist in the Leavenworth County schools for 32 years. She lived a full and meaningful life, inspiring those around her with devotion to family, friends, church and the community. Her kindness and loving personality will never be forgotten through this new tradition started in honor of her memory.

5K: Awards for top male and female runners, as well as the top 3 male and female runners in each of the following age divisions:
14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60 and over.
Kids Run: Top boy and girl runners will receive a prize.
Packet Pickup : Friday, April13, 2018 from 5 PM to 7 PM at THS-East Campus, inside main entrance.
Race Day Pickup: Sunday, April 15, 2018 from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM at THS-East, east side parking lot.
Race Day Parking: THS Campus, front and west lots.
Water and snacks will be provided at the end of the race for runners.
There will be a water/gatorade station on the course at approximately mile 2.
Restrooms will be accessible at the start/finish line.

Participants who register on or before March 15, 2018 will be guaranteed a t-shirt on race day. Those who register after may or may not receive a t-shirt. Please note, the t-shirt deadline is to allow enough time for printing by the Tongie Ink, CTE class at THS. Thanks for your understanding.
