Description

Developed as a tribute to law enforcement, firefighters and EMTs who sacrificed their lives in the 9-11 tragedy, this event will provide a flat and fast course along a paved bike trail, but is also a low-entry fee event that encourages participation by runners and walkers of all ages and abilities. The 5k run will be the culminating event in a Labor Day weekend of festivities held at the Brown v. Board of Education Historical Site in Topeka, KS.
