Description
Join us for our annual 5K Run with a 3K dog walk option to benefit the Danville-Boyle County Humane Society (DBCHS). All proceeds go towards the operational fund for the shelter helping to meet our mission in promoting the humane treatment of animals through compassionate care, engagement, and support. Bring your lucky dog and make your way through 5 or 3 kilometers of Millennium Park. All dogs are welcome as long as they are on a fixed leashed, up-to-date on vaccines, and are dog, people, and kid friendly. DBCHS will also be out with adoptable dogs of their own, so if you don't have a furry friend come find your new running buddy! Due to the booked schedule of the park we will make this happen rain or shine, but will follow proper storm precautions.
All runners will receive a t-shirt with their registration. Register by April 15th to guarantee your size.

Overall first place finishers and first place finishers in each age category for the 5K race will receive a prize. All registered dogs will receive a gift.
AWARDS: Male and Female awards to: Overall winners, 1st Masters (40+), 1st Grandmasters (50+)
1-2-3 in each age groups: < 9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+
