Join us for the inaugural Spooky Sprint 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, October 28th at 5pm at Coldstream Research Park.  Our race will benefit the Lexington Humane Society and presented by the Lexington Young Professionals Assocation (LYPA).

Kickoff your Halloween Weekend with a 3.1 mile run/walk through the scenic Legacy Trail.  Dress ups are encouraged (Best dressed awards will be presented) but not required.  DJ, Food & Beer Truck, Commemorative T-Shirts, Overall & Age Group Awards and more.  There will also be a Kids 1/4 mile "Little Spooks" Dash at 4:45pm.

PACKET PICKUP  Plans will be announced soon.

Strollers and dogs on fixed length leashes are welcomed.  We do ask these participants to start the race near the back to avoid an issue at the race start.


Commemorative Men's and Women's Sized Race Shirts

All runners and walkers who register by October 18th will be guaranteed their race shirt size.  Shirt color and style to be determined and announced.  We also have youth sizes (Small, Medium and Large) for the kids.

Lexington Young Professionals Association (LYPA) - Race Presenting Organization

Lexington Young Professionals Association (LYPA) is pleased to be the Presenting Organization of the inaugural Spooky Sprint 5K.  This fundraising community event supports our mission and purpose to provide philanthropic opportunities for our members.

What Is LYPA?
LYPA was founded in July 2000 by eight young professionals in Lexington. Their mission was to create an organization that provided emphasis on personal, civic and professional development for local professionals between the ages of 21 – 40. Since this time, LYPA has grown into an organization of hundreds of young professionals in Lexington and the surrounding area.

LYPA grooms the next generation of community leaders while improving the quality of life in the city of Lexington.

Lexington Humane Society - Our Charity Race Partner

We are pleased to partner with our friends from the Lexington Humane Society as our charity partner.  Partial proceeds and all donations made by race registrants will be donated to help the mission of the Lexington Humane Society.
