3rd Annual Hope4Heather 5k Color Run Sponsoring Laina Scott and CT Humphrey

I started doing the Hope4Heather 5k's in 2016. I wanted to do something to help one of my oldest friends out while she was battling cancer. I have never ran a 5k. I don't run at all. But I was hopeful that this would bring in money to help her out. I told her if I could raise $1000 and have 50 people run, I would keep doing it... 196 people ran and I wrote Heather a check for over $3,000. When Heather passed away a few months later, I knew I wanted to keep doing this in her name. I would honor her by raising money for other people in our community battling cancer, because Friends dont let friends fight cancer alone.
