Join us for the inaugural TREE THE TRAIL 5K on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 7:00pm at Mahr Park Arboretum in Madisonville. This will be the very first run/walk event held in the park with proceeds benefiting the "Tree the Trail" program to add more trees to the arboretum.
Our PACKET PICKUP will be on SATURDAY, JUNE 29TH from 5:45-7:00PM at the park pavilion near the main entrance. We will also have onsite registration there for those joining the party late. Online registration will remain open until 5:00pm on Saturday at www.TreeTheTrail5K.com
We'll have the 5K run/walk (chip timed), 1 Mile fun walk, Kids Dash and even a virtual runner/walker opportunity if you are out of town the day of the race but still want to support our cause. Commemorative race T-shirts, Overall & Age Group awards, Dibby's Ice Cream food truck, music and fellowship all in the tranquil, scenic setting Madisonville's beautiful park. Our start/finish and post race celebration will be held at the new pavilion near the main entrance to the park.
Also Ellen Chaney, 2019 Miss Junior Kentucky Bluegrass will be there to unveil a "Little Free Library" she created. We are excited that she chose Mahr Park Arboretum for her latest creation for her initiative to put Little Free Libraries across the state.
Walkers, strollers and dogs on fixed length leashes are all welcomed. This will be a fun, family friendly event!
Dibby's will have their ice cream truck at the race serving up their delicious ice cream. 10% of their proceeds will benefit the "Tree The Trail" initiative.
