ARK's Dawgy Dash 2020 5K is going virtual! We will race in spirit together, but safely apart (or with a small group). You can run the 5K in your own neighborhood or on a marked course in Munfordville, any time during race week, and submit your results online. Run competitively, with or without your dog, or enjoy a more leisurely outing. Registration is FREE! We don't want anyone to be excluded because of economic uncertainty. Of course, we love donations, since this is our main fundraiser of the year, but they are optional. For a $25 donation, you can order a race t-shirt, but we can't guarantee a tee after August 10.
Run your course any time from August 22 to 29, and submit your time right here on our race website leader board. Post pictures of your race on social media #dawgydash20, wearing your awesome custom bib, or send them to firstname.lastname@example.org. Don't forget to include some darling dog pics.
The funds raised by the virtual race will be used for ARK's work in the community: our pet foster/adoption program, spay-neuter promotions, and the shelter fund. Any support you can provide is truly appreciated, so we can continue helping animals. Learn more on ARK's website or on our Facebook page: ARK for Hart.
Please support our wonderful sponsors. (Click on their logos for more info.) It has been a rough year for many of them, but they are committed to helping us improve animal welfare in Hart County. We extend our gratitude to our former sponsors who couldn't help us out this year. Shop locally and thank our sponsors for their continued support.

If you want to set up your own 5K course, there are some great apps to help, such as Map My Run, Map My Walk, and Strava. Use Map My Run on your computer to create a course, or download an app on your phone and set out on your run. The apps keep track of your time and distance. It's easy! You can also use the official Dawgy Dash course. Be careful crossing 31W. Make sure you cross at the light. If you would like to avoid traffic, you can go to Thelma Stovall Park and run 4 1/3 times around the long track (all the way past the bridge).
Use the track at Thelma Stovall Park, the official Dawgy Dash course, or your own 5K route, any time during race week. The first two options will have signs during race week.Open in External Application
