5K for Amaya J.

Please join us at the 5K for Amaya J. Run/Walk to show your support for Amaya Jones in her continued cancer care in fighting leukemia.  

Amaya was diagnosed with Leukemia in December 2015 at just 5 yrs old. Through out her two and half year battle she’s kept a contagious smile and optimistic attitude. In February,  she finished her final dose of chemo, but her battle is not over. For the next 5 years she will have clinic follow-ups for post cancer care each month. She will continue to have labs and possible side effects resulting in other specialist care.

Proceeds from the race will help the Jones Family with the medical expenses required for Amaya's continued cancer care.

The race will be held on the beautiful grounds of the R.J. Corman Railroad Group in Nicholasville, KY.  The loop course in the R.J. Corman employee park contains some gently rolling hills and is completely closed to vehicular traffic.  Runners and walkers alike are in for a real treat on this course!

Oh by the way, the course isn't the only treat... Homemade ice cream will be provided by our generous host, R. J. Corman Railroad Group. Yum! 

Please note that the campus of the R.J. Corman Railroad Group is tobacco free and smoking is not permitted on the property. Children 10 & under must be accompanied by an adult at all times while on the property.  Also, please leave your pets at home as pets of any kind are not permitted on the property and this policy is strictly enforced.
