Weight Requirements:
Over 150lb: 20 lb dry weight
Under 150lb: 10 lb dry weight
Weigh-ins will occur 30 minutes before the race start.
You must weigh-in. To make this administratively simple-no weigh-in = no finishers patch, no podium awards.
The weight must be in the form of a steel ruck plate, weight vest blocks, bumper plates, or other items with clearly stamped weight. Participants may not remove or reduce the weight during the event and may face random checks at aid stations or anywhere on the course.
Participants must have a Ruck Sack, of no particular brand or style, except that weights must be contained on the back only to be elgible for awards and swag. No weights shall be carried on the front. Weighted vest are not allowed in the RUCK category. If you wish to race with a weighted vest, you may do so in the RUN category. Weights shall consist of plates or equivalent in non-consumable objects in the rucksack at the start point. Weight will be verified at the beginning and end of the event, and spot check as needed.
We are excited to say each finisher will receive a patch once your race is officially over.
Top Overall Male & Female finishers will be recognized in the 3-, 6-, 12-, 24 Hour Ruck Events.
Note: All participants will receive a patch along with other race swag.

The race takes place at the historic Rousey Home Place in central Kentucky, about 50 miles south–southwest of Lexington and roughly 15 miles south–southwest of Danville, near the towns of Junction City and Hustonville. The property sits just outside Butchertown, near the Casey and Boyle County lines, along Carpenter Creek and Butchertown Roads (essentially the same road).
Look for the rock entrance and follow it up the hill — at the top, take the left fork to reach the Rousey Cabin.
Important: When navigating to the property, please use the following address in Google Maps:
4170 Butchertown Road, Parksville, KY
