Even if you can’t join us in person on Race morning, you can register to Sleep In for the Cure®, then experience all the goings-on by tuning in to CBS 3. As is tradition, our media partner will be covering all the excitement and emotions of the Race, as well as sharing inspiring stories that will put you in the center of it all!

5:15 - 11:30 a.m.

Shuttle service between Memorial Hall and the Race site.

Be sure to purchase your Park n Ride ticket early. $8 per carload includes shuttle ticket for all passengers in your vehicle.  If purchased during Race Weekend, the pass with be $10. Last pre-race shuttle: 7:15 a.m.  Return shuttles start at 9:00 a.m.  Last shuttle will leave the race site at 11:30 a.m.

6:00 - 8:00 a.m.

Last-chance registration and prepaid Race packet pickup.

  • Survivors and Forever Fighters: at the Survivors table located at the entrance of the ShopRite Survivor & Sponsor breakfast tent at the base of the Art Museum steps.

  • All others: This year you can register/pickup in the Registration Area on Eakins Oval.

  • For even more convenient registration, fill out your registration form ahead of time and bring it with you.
6:00 - 7:00 a.m.

ShopRite Supermarket Survivors & Sponsors Breakfast, Art Museum steps.

Open to survivors, Forever Fighters and sponsors

6:30 - 10:30 a.m.

Fundraising tent open (East side of street located in the center of Eakins Oval).

Submit donations and fundraising prize pickup

7:00 a.m.

Opening Ceremonies

The base of the Art Museum steps is transformed into a fully immersive and emotional experience! We suggest you gather at the steps no later than 6:45 a.m., as the space fills up quickly.

7:15 a.m. 

Parade of Pink and Purple

Celebrating our breast cancer survivors as well as honoring the metastatic breast cancer community. Music by Voices of Gwynedd.

8:00 a.m. 


A fun and important experience for all walkers and runners, lead by Do It Better Wellness!

8:15 a.m.

Runners start, 5K

For participants who can complete the 5K/3.1-mile course in 25 minutes or less. Start location: Kelly Drive near Joan of Arc Monument

8:20 a.m. (immediately following the runners start) 

Walkers start, 5K

For participants who require more than 25 minutes to complete the 5K/3.1-mile course. Start location: Kelly Drive near the crosswalk at Spring Garden Street

8:25 a.m.

1-mile Fun Walk start

Start location: Southern tip of Eakins Oval, towards the City, proceeding onto Benjamin Franklin Parkway then returning.

8:30 - 9:45 a.m.

Pink and Purple Experience opens, sponsored by Macy’s

A must-visit tent filled with opportunities for breast cancer survivors as well as Forever Fighters and their caregivers. Includes Zumba demos by Do It Better Wellness from 9:00-9:45 a.m. Must be registered as a Survivor/Forever Fighter for entry.

9:00 a.m.

Sponsors Expo Opens

Dozens and dozens of local businesses and hospitals offer information, fun and giveaways. Must be registered and show your bib to be admitted.

9:30 a.m.

Awards and Celebration, Art Museum Steps

Highlights include Chapman Auto Stores new-car raffle (winner need not be present), Survivor Prize drawing (must be present to win), inspiring entertainment, Top 5K performance awards, team awards and more.

10:00 a.m.

Ice Cream Social, courtesy of ShopRite, Jack and Jill Ice Cream and J&J Snack Foods

NEW THIS YEAR: Make a donation of $125 or more when you register and we will send you a wristband giving you access to our ice cream social on Race day. (deadline May 7). Must show your wristband to enter.

Kids for the Cure Dash to Make a Difference, sponsored by Aldi

Join the fun of the Kids Dash on the east side of Eakins Oval (right-hand side if you’re facing the Art Museum), near the Wawa tent.
