Who should participate?

Anyone who is passionate about helping more people survive breast cancer today and finding the cures that will make our vision of a world without breast cancer a reality. Men, women and children wishing to participate in the day’s events must register and show their wristband in order to gain entry to Eakins Oval on Mother’s Day.

New and notable

If you liked our Race for the Cure, you’ll love the new experiences of the Susan G. Komen® Philadelphia MORE THAN PINK Walk™! Big changes to look forward to include:

  • Community walk. Instead of a 5K, everyone will walk as a united community around Eakins Oval then to Logan Circle and back. You can complete as many laps as you like, and individuals with physical considerations may complete a shorter course by joining other walkers at designated entry points.
  • Fundraiser recognitions. We will recognize everyone who raises at least $100 by giving them a 2019 MORE THAN PINK Walk T-shirt. We also have a new fundraiser recognition program for achievements starting at $100.
  • Contained site. Doing this will create a richer, more fulfilling experience for you because every person sharing in the activities at our MORE THAN PINK Walk will have registered for the event and be just like you—passionate about the cause and dedicated to helping us end breast cancer.
  • Less festival, more mission! At every turn, you’ll see how you make an impact in our community and beyond. The experience will focus on our participants as a community of heroes, champions, doers and achievers who are saving lives.
We will be posting additional event information such as site and parking maps, a schedule of events, and T-shirt/recognition pickup locations on this site as it becomes available.
