How do we register as a team?

During the registration process there is a section that says "Choose Your Event."  You will click the Beignet Boogie 5k & 1 Mile box.  To the right of the page is a beige box that says "Group/Team.".  If a member of your team has already created your group, click on your team name under "Select Existing Group/Team" or search for it.  If you do not see your team name, you may need to create a team.  To create a team, click on "Create a Group/Team" and follow the prompts.  Once your team is set up, other members will be able to join.

All teams that participate will get special recognition.

The race will be held rain or shine.  If weather poses a threat to participants, we reserve the right to cancel the event.   Expenses are incurred long before race day, so we regret we cannot offer refunds should the event be cancelled. Registered participants will still receive a race shirt, goodie bag and other items.  Race organizers will inform participants if a rain out date is able to scheduled.  However, due to the amount of coordination with local law enforcement/city officials and utilization of resources required for an event such as this, an alternate date may not be possible.

YES! Walkers are very welcomed to our event.  Walkers will start at the same time as runners but are advised, for safety reasons, to start their race at the back of the pack. Also be mindful to stay to the right of the street so that you are not blocking runners coming past you.
