2022 Zydeco Marathon & Half

Zydeco Marathon & 1/2 is a full and half marathon running event held in Lafayette, Louisiana.  Lafayette is world renown for our rich heritage, awesome cajun food, and, of course, Zydeco music.  Zydeco Marathon combines a fun, safe, and memorable run with our Finish Line Festival, bringing all that Lafayette is known for straight to you after your run.  Zydeco Marathon & 1/2 is a USATF sanctioned event on a certified course. 

We are a Boston Qualifier. 

Race Rules

Age Requirements- On the day of the race participants must meet the minimum age requirements. Half Marathon Participants must be at least 13 years old on the day of the race to participate. Full Marathon participants must be at least 16 years old on race day to participate

No Refund Policy- Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. No exceptions. Once we receive and accept your entry, you will not receive a refund if you cannot participate, you may not give or sell your race number to anyone else, and you may not transfer your entry fee to future races.

Readiness- You must be in good health and physically prepared to take on the challenge of a Marathon or Half Marathon.

Identification- You must show photo ID to receive your race number and timing chip.You must pick up your own race packet and race number.

Packet Pickup- Packet pick up will be at the expo only, Friday, March 10th, 2022 from 3 pm to 7 pm and  Saturday, March 12th, 2022, 7 am to 7 pm.  The expo will be held at the Rock n Bowl at 905 Jefferson Street, Lafayette, LA 70501.  NO RACE DAY PACKET PICKUP, AT THE EXPO ONLY

Race Numbers- Race numbers are required to participate.

Effort- The effort must be your own. No coaches, handcycles, bikes, in-line skates, skateboards, baby joggers or dogs will be allowed on the course.
